- 2% Mandelic Acid is a larger molecular weight alpha hydroxy acid with antibacterial properties and works as an exfoliant, allowing dead skin cells to slough off, making room for regrowth of new skin. Improves wrinkling, roughness, and softens skin.
- 2% L-Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid working as an exfoliant, allowing dead skin cells to slough off to make room for the regrowth of new skin. It improves roughness, softens skin, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Professional Usage:
- Apply a thin layer to the face after cleansing. Manipulate into the skin with fingertips.
- Apply steam if desired. Remove with a warm towel or wash cloth after 7 – 10 minutes.
 
Advanced Tip:
Advanced protocol to soften open comedones before extraction: 
Apply Retinol 2% Scrub directly on impacted pores and steam for 1-2 minutes; do not remove. Then apply the Enzyme on top of the scrub and manipulate it into the skin under steam. Remove after 7-10 minutes.
